FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a medical technique, namely a catheter, that can protect the medical personnel and the patient from needle sticking when removed after use. According to a first embodiment, the catheter comprises a needle, a plunger, a first sleeve, a sleeve, a cogwheel, a catheter body, and a tube. Plunger has a front end connected to the needle. First sleeve is designed to accommodate the needle. Bushing is connected to the front end of the first sleeve. Gear wheel vertically connects the first sleeve and bushing to each other and has a tooth formed on the outer periphery of one side and a needle groove formed therein to allow the needle to pass therethrough. Catheter body is fixed by the tooth of the gear wheel. Tube is connected to the front end of the catheter body. According to a second embodiment, the catheter comprises a needle, a plunger, a movable shaft, a rotation assembly, a gear rack, a gear wheel, a body and a tube. Plunger has a front end connected to the needle. Movable shaft is connected to the outer periphery of the plunger. Rotation unit is connected integrally with the front end of the movable rod and comprises a first region, through which the needle located in its lower part passes and a second region projecting upward from the first region. Gear rack supported by a needle is located at the rear end of the second region. Gear wheel is connected to engage with the rack on the front end of the second region. Body is connected to the front end of the rotation unit and comprises a tooth meshed with the gear mechanism. Tube is connected to the front end of the housing.
EFFECT: inventions provide reliable protection of the patient and medical personnel from needle sticking without exposing the needle.
