FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ammunition of small arms, in particular to pistol cartridges, and can be used for shooting in combat and sports. 9 mm pistol cartridge contains bullet, lead jacket, steel core and propellant powder charge. Steel core in the bottom part has an elongation, merging into the shell and ending with a flange filled with a composite material consisting of a fabric, easily combustible tape with a powder filling, and a glue binder forming a shell of a given thickness that provides strength for a given length of a flat-bottomed shell, inside which the propellant powder charge is located, top-coated with a thin hermetic combustible shell.
EFFECT: technical result consists in weight-saving the ammunition and increasing the rate of fire.
