FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to the electromagnetic screen and its manufacturing method, and can be used to protect portable radioelectronic devices from electromagnetic radiation (EMR). Electromagnetic screen of the radioelectronic device includes a dielectric layer and a conductive layer made of nickel, wherein the thickness of the conducting layer is less than the depth of penetration of electromagnetic radiation into the thickness of the material, and the dielectric layer is formed from a polymer material of poly-para-xylylene or its chlorine-containing derivatives. Method of forming an electromagnetic screen of a radioelectronic device includes successively applying a dielectric layer and a conductive layer based on nickel on the outer surfaces of the radioelectronic device, at that, a dielectric layer is applied on the previously degreased surface of the radioelectronic device by a vacuum-pyrolytic polymerisation method using a polymer material of poly-para-xylylene or its chlorine-containing derivatives, thereafter, a nickel-based conductive layer is deposited by magnetron sputtering.
EFFECT: possibility of shielding radioelectronic devices with a relief surface from spurious electromagnetic radiation in a wide frequency range while maintaining the possibility of communication with it via a radio channel, which will expand the field of application of the radioelectronic device.
