METHOD OF INTEGRATIVE ASSESSMENT OF ADAPTATION POTENTIAL AND REHABILITATION FORECASTS IN PATIENTS WITH CONSEQUENCES OF SPINAL INJURY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/53 A61H39/00

Abstract RU 2655529 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, reflexodiagnostics, can be used in the selection of a personified complex of rehabilitation measures in patients with consequences of spinal cord injury (SCI). For integrative assessment of adaptive potential (AP) and rehabilitation prognosis (RP) in these patients, dynamic segmentation diagnostics is performed. To do this, the distal representative acupuncture points are subsequently irritated by electric current, investigating the level of the initial total vegetative tonus of the body (ITVT), reflecting the functional activity of the supra-segmental centers, and its dynamics during the research. Irritate the nerve receptors of paravertebral representative zones of the interested spine, examining the level of violation of the overall regional conductivity of the spinal nerves (ORC), reflecting the functional activity of segmental autonomic centers, with the definition of its dynamics during the research. Explore using an electric current using closed electrodes, with the parameters: voltage 12 V, current 200 mcA, with a gradual increase in the strength of the stimulation for 7-50 s to its maximum level, with a subsequent computer-grade assessment using the software-hardware complex (SHC) “POINT” ITVT and ORC. At low ITVT - in -0.5...+ 0.5 points and its negative dynamics during the research in combination with a severe degree of ORC violation, a sharply reduced AP and an unsatisfactory RP are determined. At moderately low - in 1.0-2.0 points ITVT and its stable value in the process of research against a background of the average degree of ORC violation, a moderately reduced AP and a dubious RP are determined. With satisfactory baseline ITVT values of 2.0-3.0 points with positive dynamics in the testing process against a background of mild violation of ORC, a safe AP and a satisfactory RP are determined. In accordance with the received data, the individual volume and direction of rehabilitation effects are assigned.

EFFECT: method provides an objective approach to design of an individual rehabilitation program - the determination of the scope and direction of the effects in the rehabilitation of a particular patient in a dynamic that is adequate to the patient's capabilities, allowing to significantly optimize the rehabilitation process, improve its effectiveness in a qualitative way.
