Method consists in presetting a set of monitored parameters in a certain way, measuring and storing the monitored parameters, determining the characteristics of the UV state in the process of its functioning, estimating the residual resource and the pre-failure state in a certain way, documenting the results, deciding whether to prolong or end the operation of the UV in the event of achieving a critical parameter value.

EFFECT: provides accident-free operation of the UV in an autonomous mode.
