FIELD: gas turbine engine units.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the determination of the residual life of fuel pumps. The method for determining the residual life of the fuel pump is characterized by the fact that parameters are measured that characterize the life of the fuel pump for a certain time. The dependence of the change of these parameters to their limit values is plotted, and the residual life of the fuel pump is determined as the difference between the predicted service life and the current operating time. As parameters, the amount of fuel supply at the outlet of the fuel pump and the rotational speed of the fuel pump rotor are measured. The diagnostic parameter X of the fuel pump is determined by a certain ratio, and the value of the residual life Tres of the fuel pump is determined by the formula.
EFFECT: reduced calculation time and increased reliability of the prediction of the residual life of the pumps, as well as the possibility of operation according to the technical condition without removing from the engine.
