FIELD: machine building; instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the modern machine building and instrument making manufacturing, installation, and operation, including power engineering, petrochemistry, and transport. Method comprises the articles reliability characteristics changes monitoring by the distribution density, using the quantile boundaries, determining the pessimistic and optimistic forecast nature, with the established assigned resource γ-percent resource, set by the longevity characteristic limit value, by the products limiting state probabilistic estimation method, which characterizes the trends towards parametric failures manifestation, wherein for each particular product the approximating function is simulated, determining the failure rate trend type according to the product predicted reliability characteristics from the moment of its normal operation beginning, evaluating and forming the product residual defectiveness monitoring area, providing for probabilistic risk assessment, and monitoring the product residual defectiveness.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the product real state evaluation accuracy, its operation reliability and safety.
