FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway automation, for fencing of works and alerting workers. Method involves the rolling stock detection sensors (RDS) installed on the rail bottom on both sides of the work site, equipped with a radio station, signal radio controlled portable fencing devices (RCPFD) installed on both sides of the work site, collective portable signaling device (CPSD) on the works site. In the absence of rolling stock, the RDSs form control signals, and with the rolling stock detection, are alert signals and transmitting them to the CPSD, which, in the absence of control signals, actuates the alarm and informs about the particular RDS failure. Wherein, in the presence of obstacles in the workplace and in their absence, setting the corresponding control signal in manual mode by means of CPSD, which is transmitted to the RCPFD to generate prohibiting or permissive indication, RCPFD monitors the signal readings with subsequent transmission of the results to CPSD, which automatically compares them with the given control signal and, with matching, generates optical signal confirming the each RCPFD readings, and in case of a mismatch, switches on the alarm in the form of corresponding optical and tone alarm signals.

EFFECT: higher safety is achieved.
