FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for conservative treatment of large inguinal hernias contains a bandage belt, lodgment, pelotte and fixation elements for fastening the lodgment to the bandage belt. On the lodgment of the triangular form, an elastic L-shaped fixator with a flat free end is rigidly mounted, with an opening for the lodgment being placed under the free end of the elastic L-shaped fixator. Pelotte has a mushroom shape with a long conical stem, in shape and length corresponding to the size of the outer and inner rings of the enlarged inguinal canal. On the hood of the pelotte, a hub with a slot-like opening is fixedly fixed to the flat end of the L-shaped elastic fixator.
EFFECT: invention ensures the retention of the hernial sac in the abdominal cavity during physical exertion and the prevention of the incarceration of the intestinal loop in the inguinal canal when straining.
