SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used in the conduct of surgical interventions by laparoscopic access. To do this, the Veresh needle is inserted into the abdominal cavity, followed by the pumping of carbon dioxide through it. When pressure reaches 8 mm Hg further increase in intra-abdominal pressure is performed repeatedly in steps of 1 mm Hg in 10 s. Then endoscope is introduced into the abdominal cavity and the location of the circular ligament of the liver is evaluated to the perpendicularly inserted Veresh needle in the anterior abdominal wall. Optimal pressure of carbon dioxide in the abdominal cavity is considered with a decrease in the rate of gas supply by the insufflator by 30 % of the initial value and in parallel with the location of the circular ligament of the liver to the Veresh needle.

EFFECT: method provides effective surgical treatment by reducing the burden on the patient's body, reducing the number of complications from the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, ability to accurately determine the optimal pressure in the abdominal cavity when creating carboperitoneum.
