FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for supplying a sprayer with a liquid coating material, particularly in a coating material spraying device used to apply a primer, paint or varnish on a motor vehicle body. Device for supplying at least one sprayer with a liquid coating material comprises a plurality of valves for controlling the flow of the coating material towards the sprayer. Valves being aligned along a principal axis of the supply device. Each valve comprises a moving needle, a valve body, which defines a volume for circulation of the coating material, and a seat supporting the needle in the closed configuration of the valve and which carries at least one connector connecting a pipe for circulation of coating material or cleaning product. In addition, the device comprises pneumatic drive means for translation of the needle along the separation/approach axis relative to the seat. Pneumatic drive means comprise a piston, constrained to move in translation with the needle and slidably mounted in a guide body. Principal axis and the separation/approach axis of the valve coincide at a unique point and together define a principal plane of said valve. Separation/approach axis of each valve is contained within a cone centred on an axis perpendicular to the principal axis and belonging to the principal plane of the valve, the apex of which coincides with the unique point and having a half-angle (γ) at the apex with a value of between 10 and 60°, preferably between 20° and 50°. Separation/approach axis forms angle (δ) with the central axis of the cone, the value of which is greater than 5°, preferably greater than 30°. Separation/approach axes of the various valves are parallel.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher reliability of the device, ensuring its compactness and facilitation of installation in the hand of a multi-axis robot.
