FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE). Inlet valve is designed for installation in the ICE intake duct. Inlet valve is a single monolithic part, containing a valve stem, a valve fillet and a disc having a side end face area and a contact bevel. Contact bevel is a truncated-conical surface with a smaller base having radius R2, and provides the possibility of contact with the ICE valve seat. Valve stem is made from at least one portion with a constant radius, wherein the valve stem radius in the fillet junction zone is equal to R1. Valve fillet is made with an increase in diameter from the valve stem to the disc. Fillet shape is made in accordance with a curve, whose points are defined by pairs of coordinates (xa; ra), where x is the coordinate measured along the valve axis, starting from the fillet and disc junction line, r is the coordinate measured along the disc end face area, starting from the valve axis, and a is the serial number of the point. Collection of points (xa; ra), which form the fillet shape, is located between two boundary curves, each of which is defined by a set of N points (xb, rb) and (xt, rt), respectively, where xb=db*R2, rb=lb*R2+mb*(R1-0.2*R2), xt=dt*R2, rt=lt*R2+mt*(R1-0.2*R2). Given are values of db, lb, mb for the set of points N from 1 to 8 and the values of dt, lt, mt for a set of points N from 1 to 9.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the selection of the optimal from the aerodynamic point of view form of the curved valve fillet.
