FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: rim surface profile formed by a profile line consisting of conjugated lines of the flange surface and the rolling surface, as well as a chamfer on the outer side of the wheel, is made for a railway wheel with width of 130 mm and a flange thickness of 33 mm. Ridge surface line consists of circular arc with radius R1=45 mm forming inner surface of wheel flange, circular arc of radius R2=13 mm forming top of wheel flange, and working surface of flange at angle of 65° to horizontal. Line of rolling surface is conjugated with working surface of flange by fillet made by circular arcs conjugated in point of conjugation with radii R3=16 mm, R4=110 mm, and is formed by circular arcs R5=550 mm, a straight line segment with slope of 1/20 and an arc of radius R6=132 mm, which are conjugated in successive points of conjugation.
EFFECT: reduced dynamic interaction in the “car-track” system, reduced wear of the wheel rim profile, reduced contact stresses of the “wheel-rail” system.
