FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: diesel inlet valve consists of rod (1) smoothly passing along generatrix of truncated cone (2) into head (3) equipped with working surface interacting with seat (6) installed in cylinder block. On the generatrix of truncated cone (2) there are 3 spiral guides (4) made along the clothoid with a height not exceeding the height of the valve lift, which are a rectangle ending in a semicircle from above, and starting immediately from valve rod (1), creating a turbulent air flow in the diesel engine during the combustion process for the fuel flare influence zones destruction.

EFFECT: reduction of energy dissipation of incoming air charge, reduction of vortex formation in valve slot, reduction of air charge pulse when passing through a bottleneck.
