SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the disposable absorbing article comprising a coating layer, liquid-permeable and facing the user when used and a substantially liquid-impermeable back sheet, facing away from the user when used. Absorbing element comprising the extending in longitudinal direction edges, located between the liquid-permeable cover layer and the substantially liquid-impermeable rear layer. Article has extending in longitudinal direction, axial line, crotch area, a front end area, and a rear end area. Absorbing element comprises a first absorbing layer facing the user when used, and a second absorbing layer facing away from the user when used. Liquid permeable cover sheet and the rear layer project outwards relative to the longitudinally extending absorbing element edges. At least one elastic element is disposed between the liquid-permeable cover layer and the rear layer from the outside of the corresponding longitudinally extending absorbing element edge. Elastic elements have a return force of 0.30 N to 0.80 N when stretched to 70 % of the available stretching in accordance with the described testing method. First absorbing layer comprises a first longitudinal opening located in the crotch area, and the second absorbing layer comprises a first longitudinal compressed portion disposed in the crotch area.
