Said front basic panel (1) comprises perineal edge (8), and said rear basic panel comprises perineal edge (15). Imaginary center line (29) coinciding with the transverse central axis Y-Y of the absorbent article divides the absorbent article into two parts of equal length in the longitudinal direction, and imaginary center line (29) divides intermediate crotch portion (24) of absorbent member (3) into front crotch portion (30) having a length L1, and rear crotch portion (31) having a length L2, the ratio of the length L2 to the length L1 being L2:L1<0.4, preferably < 0.3, more preferably < 0.25, or crotch edge (15) of rear main panel (2) is located in front of imaginary center line (29).
EFFECT: disposable absorbent article of the pants type is proposed.
