FIELD: building; electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and electrical engineering and can be used to seal cables, pipes, cables and similar products passing through any separation walls. Compression block for cable entry is proposed, comprising a wedge mechanism with front and rear spacer wedges configured to move to each other and from each other by a screw drive, working wedges and devices for connecting adjacent working wedges and spacer wedges to each other, providing the possibility of moving the working wedge relative to the adjacent spreading wedge. Device includes a cantilevered flexible strip, one edge of which is connected to the edge of the work wedge facing the adjoining adjacent spreading wedge, and the second free edge of this cantilevered flexible strip is fixed to this adjacent spreading wedge using a detachable locking device.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to eliminate wedging of the wedge mechanism.
