FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of epoxidised polymers. Process comprises reacting an unsaturated polymer with hydrogen peroxide from about 25 °C to about 100 °C in the presence of a styrene polymer having a sulphonic acid group. Unsaturated polymer is butyl rubber or halobutyl rubber provided in organic phase. Hydrogen peroxide and styrene polymer are provided in aqueous phase.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the resulting polymers.
