FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a testing technique and can be used to evaluate the physical properties of a pavement structure. Device comprises a load plate adapted to strike against the test surface, force transmission means adapted to transmit force to the load plate, buffer means and a weight adapted to impact said force transmission means via said buffer means. To provide a force to be transmitted to said load plate via said force transmission means, a guide means for guiding said weight towards said force transmission means, and a lifting means for lifting said load to a predetermined height above said force transmission means. In this case, the lifting means comprises an electric motor driving a threaded spindle meshed with the falling weight, at that the threaded spindle being meshed without self-braking with a falling weight.
EFFECT: technical result is the ability to perform sequential measurements at shorter time intervals and thereby increase the test speed and the overall productivity of pavement deformation measurements.
