Gas scrubber comprises a body composed of upper and lower sections, a branch pipe for introducing a dusty gas, a branch pipe for the outlet of purified gas, a spray catcher with a centrifugal swirler and a branch pipe for draining liquid from the spray catcher, an irrigation device, plates with a stabilizer, a nozzle for periodically swirling the swirler and a slurry collector, at least one plate is additionally equipped with a vibrator, the vibrator is made in the form of a peripheral part of the plates and is fixed directly to the plates or the vibrator is formed in the shape of a central part of the plates and fixed directly on the plates, and the vibrator is fixed directly to the body in the place where the plates are located and made in the form of toroidal. Cells of the stabilizer are square, and the ratio of the height of the stabilizer h_c to cell width b_c is in the optimal range of the quantities h_c/b_c=1.5…1.8, and the plates are perforated with a plate thickness ratio h_t to the diameter of the holes d_o, located in the optimal range of values of h_t/d_o=0.5…1.5, or the plates are slotted with a ratio of the thickness of the plate h_t to the width of the slits b_o, located in the optimal range of values of h_t/b_o=0.8…1.5, and the ratio of the height of the body H to the diameter D is in the optimal range of values H/D=4.0…6.5, the ratio of the diameter of the body D to the diameter of the spraying water collector D₁ is in the optimal range of D/D₁=1.2…1.25, the ratio of the diameter of the body D to the diameters of the inlet and outlet branches D₂ is in the optimal range of D/D₂=2.0…2,5, and the irrigation device is made in the form of an injector with an elliptical swirler.
