FIELD: dust collection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to wet dust collection and can be used in chemical, textile, food, light and other industries for purification of gases. Gas scrubber comprises a body composed of upper and lower sections, a nozzle for introducing a dusty gas, a branch pipe for the outlet of purified gas, a spray catcher with a centrifugal swirler and a branch pipe for draining liquid from the spray catcher, an irrigation device, plates with a stabilizer, a nozzle for periodic irrigation of the swirler, and a slurry tank. At least one vibrator is installed on one plate. Stabilizer cells are square. Irrigation device is made in the form of an injecting nozzle. Nozzle contains a hollow cylindrical body with an orifice plate, connected to the union nut. Fluid flow divider is attached to the nut. Liquid flow divider consists of coaxially located punched conic feedwells the space between which is filled with fine-meshed grid. Apices of the conical surfaces of the shells are directed away from the orifice plate. In the lower part of the divider a cylindrical perforated segment is fastened that is fixed on perforated conical shells. In the cylindrical perforated segment there is a swirler made in the form of a spring.
