FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the production of a regenerable carbon dioxide absorber. Zirconium hydroxide is mixed with the polymer binder and extruded. As a binder, polymers from a number of polysulfones in a solvent of tetrahydrofuran are used. After molding, the resulting granules are dried in vacuum at a residual pressure of not more than 5 mm Hg. and temperatures from 65 to 85 °C until the solvent is completely removed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the water resistance and strength of the absorber granules during long-term operation while maintaining high rates of dynamic activity for carbon dioxide.
