FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for milking animals. Milking parlor comprising robotic manipulation devices and milking stalls, provided on a platform, movable relative to the robotic manipulation devices. Each of the robotic manipulation devices is configured to attach to a single animal in the milking stall a subset of the total required number of teat cups to be attached to the teats of the animal in the milking stall. First robotic manipulation device comprises means for supporting the teat cup and a means for locating the nipple relative to the teat cup transfer means. Second robotic manipulation device comprises a second teat cup support means and a teat position detection means with respect to the second teat cup transfer means. Relative position of the detection means of the first robotic manipulation device relative to the carrying means of the teat cups of the first robotic manipulation device is different from the relative position of the detection means of the second robotic manipulation device relative to the transport means of the teat cups of the second robotic manipulation device.
EFFECT: service time of the milking stalls is reduced.
