SUBSTANCE: invention relates to milking equipment. In the method, the rotary milking platform comprises a platform that bounds the main surface, which faces upwards and on which the animal to be milked is standing, and forms a set of animal accommodating locations arranged around the circumference around the platform. There is a device for carrying a teat cup and attaching it to the nipple of the animal to be milked located at each animal accommodating location. Each device contains support means installed under the platform next to the corresponding animal location and a teat cup carrier for attaching teat cups. Said teat cup carrier is mounted on the corresponding support means and is adapted to secure a teat cup under the animal in the ready state. Further, the teat cup is ready to move upwards from the teat cup carrier to attach to the animal's nipple.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the rotary milking platform.
