FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for suppressing blooms and restoring surfaces of items made from decorative concrete, mainly architectural ornaments replacing marble, facing tiles for interior and exterior decoration, window sills, tabletops, tombstones, sculptures, etc., in order to improve the appearance of the products. Method for removing and recovering the surface of a concrete product, based on the exposure of the product in water and drying with the subsequent mechanical cleaning of the surface of the product from the bloom, whereby the product is held in water in a volume of water of not less than one volume of the product at a rate of 12 hours soaking for every 10 kg of product weight, and after drying and mechanical cleaning, the product is coated with fat at a rate of 150 g/m2 followed by heating at a temperature of 15 °C for at least 6 hours.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in efficiency and a reduction in the number of technological operations.
