FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: salting-out from ceramic ware fabricated from clay raw material with elevated content of water-soluble salts is suppressed by adding to raw meal 1.0 or 2.2 wt % of barium compound followed by molding, drying, and baking, said barium compound being aqueous solution of thermal barium salt waste, more particularly containing 20 +/- 5 wt % barium chloride and 10 +/- 5 wt % potassium, sodium, and calcium chlorides plus potassium and sodium nitrates.
