FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms and machines protection systems against vibrations. Rod damping element is made in the form of a cylindrical shell made of elastomer. To ends of the shell are attached the upper and lower flat supports, consisting of three layers. Lower and upper layers are made of rigid vibration damping material, and the third layer located between them is made damping. As a damping material, a crumb filled with polyurethane is used. Inner cavity of the cylindrical shell is filled with a set consisting of two damping disks. Disks are fixed on an elastic axis coaxially located with a cylindrical shell. Between the damping disks cylindrical helical spring is arranged.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of damping in resonance mode.
