FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely to methods of the floating craft motions reduction. Passive floating craft motion stabilizer comprises onboard tanks 1 partially filled with a ferromagnetic liquid 2 and connected together by liquid 3 and air channels 4. Air channel is equipped with safety valve 5. Around the middle part of liquid channel 3 there is installed winding 6 of an electric generator concentrically arranged by annular permanent magnet 7. Liquid channel 3 is made of a non-magnetic material.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the design of the passive stabilizer, increasing its lifetime and reliability.
