FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely to methods of the floating craft motions reduction. Passive floating craft motion stabilizer contains onboard left and starboard tanks 1, partially filled with liquid 2, connected together by liquid 3 and air 4 channels. Side tanks 1 contain elastic diaphragms 5 separating onboard tanks 1 on inner 6 and outer 7 cavities. Liquid channel 3 in the middle part is made in the form of cylinder 8 made of non-magnetic material. Around cylinder 8 there is winding 9 of an electric generator, concentrically to which there is an annular permanent magnet 10. Working liquid in inner cavity 6 of onboard tanks 1 is ferromagnetic fluid.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of roll quenching mechanism and possibility to generate electric energy due to use of energy of rolling liquid.
