FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing systems, in particular to a fire extinguisher of a lavatory disposal receptacle. Automatic fire extinguisher consists of a cylinder with a bracket for its attachment to a wall of a room; a liquid fire extinguishing agent, which is under pressure in the cylinder and is transferred to a gas phase upon efflux from the cylinder; charging tube sealingly connected to the cylinder and hermetically sealed after charging the cylinder; at least one discharging tube, one end of which is sealingly connected to the cylinder wall, which is the bottom for the liquid extinguishing agent, and the other end inside has a plug, an end of which is in contact with the liquid fire extinguishing agent, connected to the discharging tube by a low-melting solder, herewith the plug is made of metal or an alloy with a high thermal conductivity and has a portion protruding from the discharging tube. Plug has a sealing element, and a proportioning device is installed in front of it. Plug may be continuous or have through holes with axes placed in a vertical plane, or be in the form of a sleeve with a bottom facing inside the discharging tube. Wall of the sleeve protruding from the discharging tube has a section from the source of the fire, which height is selected from the range of 0.5d≤h≤d, where h is the section height of the sleeve; d is the outer diameter of the sleeve.

EFFECT: time period from ignition of the contents of the disposal receptaclebefore the blowout of the fire extinguishing agent is reduced and the reliability of the fire extinguisher is increased.
