FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electric power industry, namely, to spiral clamps intended for tensioning, connecting non-insulated and insulated wires, their repair, execution of branches of air lines of electrical transmission with voltage 6÷1,150 kV. Clamp consists of lay 1, 2, comprising single or coupled wire spirals made of conductive non-magnetic or magnetic material and wound over outer wire lay 3, 4. At ends 5, 6 of lays 1, 2, clamps are built, consisting of two clamping elements (half-yokes) 7, 8 and fastened to each other at ends 5, 6 of lay 1, 2 by means of fasteners.
EFFECT: invention optimally solves the problem of connecting and repairing insulated and uninsulated wires, the clamp can be used to connect wires in a flight, a loop and on other sections of the overhead power transmission line and as a branch terminal, to restore the strength and conductivity of the damaged wires.
