FIELD: vehicle traffic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method and apparatus for early warning during meeting at curves. Device for early warning during meeting at curves is installed on a server. Device receives vehicle traveling position information. Target vehicle approaching collision with an oncoming vehicle behind the curve is determined according to the vehicle traveling position information and traffic information. Warning of the target vehicle of about an oncoming vehicle behind the curve includes the transmission of a collision early warning to the corresponding target vehicle approaching collision with an oncoming vehicle behind the curve. Notification occurs in such a way that the corresponding target vehicle, upon receiving of the collision notification, gives the driver an alarm signal about the oncoming vehicle behind the curve.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of accidents involving oncoming vehicles.
