FIELD: radar data.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for identifying and tracking objects based on radar data. The unmanned vehicle contains: radar; an object tracking device comprising a data acquisition module configured to receive data from one or more vehicle-mounted radars, the acquired data including target coordinates, reflected signal strength and target radial velocity; and a data processing and analysis module configured to cluster the received data and track the movement of an object by assigning a new position to the object if the cluster obtained as a result of clustering has an association with a given tracked object, with each target in the received data being considered as a point in space according to its coordinates, while clustering involves combining into clusters the points that are located from each other within the combining distance and have a close radial velocity, while the distance of combining a given point with other points depends on the level of the reflected signal of this point; and a vehicle control device configured to control the vehicle as a follower vehicle to follow the lead vehicle, wherein one of the tracked objects is a forward moving object, which is the lead vehicle.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and efficiency of vehicle control.
