FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft landing gear and relates to a pitch trimmer assembly. Landing gear comprises a telescopic rack, a landing gear bogie, pivotally connected to the bottom of the telescopic rack, a control actuator, as well as the first and second pivot arms, pivotally connected to the end of the control actuator. Control drive is connected to the upper part of the telescopic rack and is adapted to apply a first damping force in a first state and a second damping force greater than the first damping force in a second state. Control actuator comprises a valve configured to switch the control actuator into its second state by changing the flow of the damping fluid in the control actuator, when the valve actuating element is in compressed state. Valve actuating element is adapted to be compressed by one of the pivot arms when said pivot arms are in a predetermined range of relative configurations.
