FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building and can be used in belt drive. Tensioner contains coupling, regulator, jointly connected with the internal surface of the coupling, pivot lever pivotally connected with coupling, pulley installed on same axle with the pivot lever, torsional spring engaging with coupling to shift the pivot level and lock element connected to the regulator, and jointly engaging with the coupling. Besides, the tensioner contains elastomer damping ring connected with the lever and being in compressed friction contact between the coupling and lever by this the tangential friction force dampers movement of the pivot lever, and elastomer dampening ring acts by radial force on the coupling.

EFFECT: increased dampening in oil contain9ing environment.
