FIELD: aeronautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and system for automated configuration of simulation models of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). To implement the method, a description of all the elements of the simulation model to be configured is preliminarily set and converted into a high-level programming language, the source code is stored and translated into the machine code. Simulation model is updated due to inputting the original data by the operator, converting them into documents in the format of the data schema, transforming documents into a data structure in the format of the simulation model, sequentially accessing data structures, processing the results and storing them. System comprises an execution unit and an initialization unit. Execution unit comprises a data entry module, a serialization-deserialization module, a simulation model module, a storage module, a results processing module. Initialization unit comprises a data schema module, a code generator module, a code module, a compiler.
EFFECT: automatic configuration of simulation models of UAVs of various types, various environmental parameters and types of UAV carriers is provided.
