FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of research in the physics of high energy densities and thermonuclear reactions in the realization of high-temperature states in a compressed gas. Device for supplying gas to an internal cavity of an implosion-type multi-stage axisymmetric device comprises a conduit passing through a charge of an explosive, communicating with the filled cavity between the metal shells of an axisymmetric device, fastened with metal spokes, mounted coaxially with one of the metal spokes, entering into one of the shells to a depth of at least ¾ of its thickness and abutting against the butt of the spoke, a metal rod with a channel installed along the pipeline, a metal wire wound on the rod, with the possibility of passage through the gas channel, into the pipeline from the side of the spoke, and a metal plug tightly flush with the end face. In this case, a groove is made for the passage of gas on the surface of the plug, and a groove is made at the end of the spoke.
EFFECT: invention provides neutralization of jet streams from the pipeline, improvement of symmetry of convergence of shells of a multistage axisymmetric device of an implosive type and an increase in the compression efficiency of an implosive device.
