FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: system of remote stopping of vehicles involves the use of a GSM transceiver installed on a vehicle for its forced stop. A signal to stop the vehicle is sent from a certain telephone number known to the vehicle owner and law enforcement agencies. The state number of the vehicle is connected by an electrical circuit to the control unit. If the state number is detached from the electrical circuit, the signal is sent to the owner and to the law enforcement agencies via the control unit and the GSM transceiver.
EFFECT: increasing the protection of vehicles against the theft and the stealing of its state numbers due to the possibility of forced stopping of the vehicle, increasing the protection against committing terrorist acts.
