Data of the anamnesis, assessment of the severity of lesions on the scale of the MFS-MI, assessment of the severity of the condition according to the MFS-COA scale are collected and evaluated. Conduct an assessment of the severity of damage to the lower extremities when combined fractures of the bones of the extremities and pelvis. Conduct an assessment of the syndrome of a systemic inflammatory response. Assess the risk of developing acute venous thrombosis before surgery. Estimate the duration of bed rest. Assess the presence of signs of thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery. Assess the presence of abnormalities in the hemostasis system. Assess the risk of developing acute venous thrombosis. Above parameters are assigned points. Obtained points are summed up. With a score of up to 31 points, the risk is low. Average risk of developing acute venous thrombosis is in the range of 32 to 58 points. At the sum of 59 and more points the risk of development of complications is high.

EFFECT: method allows to take objective and accurate risk assessment of venous thromboembolic complications in the wounded and severely affected by evaluating the complex of the most significant parameters.
