SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, and can be used for prediction of development of thromboembolic complications in patients with polytrauma. For this purpose, venous blood is analyzed by means of laboratory analysis "Thrombodynamics". Fibrin clot growth rate is determined. If this rate is more than 29 mcm/min, a high risk of thromboembolic complications is predicted and prevented by anticoagulants using low-molecular heparin preparations.

EFFECT: invention provides reducing mortality from thromboembolic complications in patients with polytrauma by preventing development of life threatening conditions.
