FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: using to determine hydrogen content in powder of non-stoichiometric titanium hydride. Summary of Invention thing is determination of hydrogen content in powder of non-stoichiometric titanium hydride of composition TiHx (x<1½) by X-ray diffraction is to determine phase composition of analyzed sample by method of qualitative X-ray phase analysis, as well as in determining mass content α- and δ-phase by method of quantitative X-ray phase analysis, after that, according to previously obtained calibration dependence, using mass content δ- or α-phase, determine hydrogen content in sample being analyzed.
EFFECT: possibility of determining hydrogen content in powder of titanium hydride of composition TiHx (x<1½) and control of phase composition in powder of titanium hydride of composition TiHx (x<1), as well as ensuring possibility of reducing analysis time and performing non-destructive testing of analyzed samples of non-stoichiometric titanium hydride.
