FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. MRI and PET examination, and stereotactic destruction of the tumor are performed. After stereotactic cryodestruction, with a tumor of the brain in a volume exceeding 20 cm3, about 30 % of its volume subjected to cryosurgical treatment is removed. Removal is carried out by stereotactic aspiration using a worm-type evacuator.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce postoperative complications, which is achieved due to the creation of internal decompression.
