SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a pharmaceutical composition producing anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects. Pharmaceutical composition for oral administration producing anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects comprising a therapeutically effective amount of tomato oleoresin comprising lycopene in an amount of 6 to 15 wt%, phytoene, phytofluene in an amount of 1.0 to 5 wt%, tocopherols in an amount of 1.5 to 4 wt%, beta-carotene in an amount of 0.2 to 1.0 wt%, fatty acids in an amount of 50 to 90 wt% and phytosterols in an amount such that the ratio of said lycopene to said phytosterol is less than about 5:1 and wherein said phytosterols comprise 300-1,200 mg/100 g of tomato oleoresin of beta-sitosterol, 300-1300 mg/100 g of tomato oleoresin of campesterol and 500-1700 mg/100 g of tomato oleoresin of stigmasterol.
EFFECT: said composition produces a synergistic inhibition of NO production.
