SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric vehicles. Damping control device for electric vehicle having transmission between motor and running wheels, damping control device comprising means for suppressing vibration when gears are changed. This means subtracts component of compensating torsion torque to suppress vibration caused by gearshift, from the compensation torsion torque to suppress vibration caused by dithering motor’s rotational rate to control output torsion torque of the motor. There is also means for calculating differential of the second order of transmission ratio. Vibration suppressor during gear changing controls output torsion torque of the motor when absolute value of the second-order differential is equal to or higher than the predetermined value.
EFFECT: accuracy of determining change of transmission ratio is increased.
