SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport and can be used as a drainage device in railway tank cars for the liquid cargo transportation. According to the first embodiment the railway tank car draining device comprises body (1), upper (2), lower (3) and intermediate valve gates. Intermediate valve gate is made in the form of a safety plug (4) made of a polymeric material and mounted on the lower gate through the elastic element (6). According to the second embodiment, on the safety plug a sealing gasket made of a polymeric material is installed. On the body inner surface thrust collar (1.1) is made with a working surface along the its lower part annular edge. In order to interface with the thrust collar (1.1) working surface in the drainage device closed position along the safety plug upper part annular edge according to the first embodiment, and in the second embodiment of the sealing gasket, the working surface is made.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the design of the railway tank car drainage device in the part of the intermediate valve gate, reduces the labor intensity of the drainage device operation.
