FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: wheel body is provided with pointed projections located along the Archimedean spiral starting from the center of the grinding wheel. The working layer is formed at the apexes of the projections with dendrites of precipitated iron with inclusions of super hard material microparticles in their upper portion attached by the method of galvanic iron. First, iron plating is carried out in bath with vertical positioning of the blank and anode with increase of cathode-anode index. Then bath together with rotating blank and anode is turned from vertical by acute angle with arrangement of end of body upwards. Electrolyte with microparticles of super hard material is supplied to interelectrode gap through holes in anode and the above-mentioned index is increased. After that it is kept up to formation on projections of dendrites of optimal height.

EFFECT: increased productivity and quality of grinding and reduced consumption of abrasive material.
