SUBSTANCE: finger grip comprises a body having a lower side with finger supporting surfaces (13) for supporting fingers of a user during handling of the syringe, and engagement member (5) in which it is arranged not to engage with the plunger rod, and an active position where the engagement member is arranged to engage with a grooved surface on the plunger rod. As a result, feedback is given to a user as the plunger is moved relative to the finger grip. Activation member (7) for moving the engagement member from said inactive position to said active position is built-in into the finger grip.
EFFECT: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically finger grip (1) attached to a syringe body having proximal and distal ends and provided with a plunger and a plunger rod.
