SUBSTANCE: composite tube comprises the first elongated member comprising a hollow body spirally wound to form at least partially elongated tube having a longitudinal axis, a cavity extending along a longitudinal axis and a hollow wall at least partially surrounding the cavity; and the second elongated member spirally wound and connected between the adjacent turns of the first elongated member. The second elongated member forms at least a portion of the elongated tube cavity. The second elongated member is configured to act as a structural support or reinforcement for the first elongated member. A method for manufacture of a composite tube, a medical tube, and a method for its manufacture are disclosed.

EFFECT: tube operation under the conditions of high humidity and temperature while maintaining its strength.
