SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the field of potable water supply in obtaining potable water. To carry out the process, contact coagulation with aluminum sulfate is carried out with filtration on the loading of granular contact clarifiers and sequential introduction of calcium chloride and soda technical. In this case, the introduction of calcium chloride is carried out before treatment with a coagulant, and the introduction of technical soda is carried out after the filtration facilities in front of clean water tanks. Contact coagulation with aluminum sulfate is carried out at a dose of 0.75÷0.8 mg/dm3 Al2O3. Calcium chloride is administered by a dose of active substance 15÷20 mg/dm3, and the dose for the active substance of soda is 7÷9 mg/dm3. Filtration is carried out in contact clarifiers on sand loading. In a preferred embodiment, the purified water is pre-chlorinated with sodium hypochlorite.

EFFECT: method represents a highly efficient technology for purifying drinking water, while reducing the corrosiveness of treated water, which leads to an increase in the service life of pipelines, reduce the accident rate of the pipeline system due to corrosion damage, reduce the concentration of total iron in the consumer to regulatory requirements, increase the capacity of the pipeline.
