FIELD: weapons and ammunition; measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatus for measuring the characteristics of an explosion of an ammunition. Explosive substance (ES) charge explosion in the near zone characteristics determining method using the Hopkinson measuring rod in the calculated manner by the elastic strain measured parameters, occurring in the rod under the longitudinal stress wave action, initiated by the air shock wave impulse action directly to its end. Preliminary magnetizing the measuring rod, and its elastic deformation parameters are determined by the rod material magnetic characteristics short-term change in one or more specified sections. Explosive substance charge explosion in the near zone characteristics determining device comprises the measuring rod with fixed to it elastic strain in the electrical signal convertor, placed in the protective casing with possibility of the small linear displacement. On the rod made of electrically conductive material cylindrical winding is arranged, with possibility of its ends temporary connection to the constant voltage source, and at least one or several closely spaced winding turns or several single or groups of closely spaced turns, located in the winding different sections at given distance are to the measuring and recording device. Winding is configured for linear displacement along the rod.
EFFECT: invention allows to provide multiple increased accuracy measurements.
